Studying at the Top school in New Zealand, Elite School of Beauty & Spa gaining Diploma qualifications in Beauty, Body & Spa Therapies.
Qualified beauty therapist for 12 years, I'm extremely passionate about my job and love every aspect. Recently crossed the country from Hamilton, North Island to Westport, South Island.
Carine Beauty therapy isn’t your typical beauty therapy clinic and is different from what you have experienced before. Created with love in everything I do, I've created a place to become restored and experience relaxation. Truly made with my heart, just for you and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Hi, I’m Bec and I’m thrilled to be the new member of Carine Beauty Therapy!
I’m born and bred in North Canterbury, Kaiapoi to be exact, and moved to Westport in August 2022 to be with my partner. I love it here; my mum is a coaster originally and Westport definitely feels like home. My nail technician career started back in 2012 in New Brighton at a small but busy nail salon. I headed in as an apprentice and my love for beautiful nails started there. In the following years I remained doing nails on and off privately as time allowed. I continued to gain qualifications in several nail treatments to keep myself up to date in the beauty world.
One of my best achievements within the beauty industry so far would have to be having Carine believe in me and trust me to join her in providing high-quality, luxurious nails. Also, when I nailed free-hand French tip lines, a small yet important achievement for me. I love doing nail extensions but have found a new appreciation for nurturing and promoting healthy natural nails. I also love a splash of glitter or bedazzled nails!
In my spare time I enjoy baking, exploring new places, and spending time with my partner & doggo, and of course travelling back to Christchurch to spend time with my friends and family over there too.
My goals for the future in the beauty industry are to continue to learn new skills, gain further qualifications, build a great clientele and maybe dip my toes in other beauty enhancements other than nails. …
